Initial Situation:

Due to the increasing spread of the invasive Quagga mussel in Swiss waters, the Alex Lake Hotel on Lake Zurich was faced with a serious issue: the lake water pipes feeding the hotel’s heat pump were partially clogged by mussel infestation. As a long-standing client, the hotel group turned to the company Rohrputz Loriol with confidence, seeking a swift and sustainable solution.

Results:

Thanks to the professional efforts of everyone involved, the lake water pipes were completely cleared of Quagga mussels. Continuous radio contact with the divers allowed for ongoing coordination and timely updates on the cleaning progress. The operation of the heat pump was successfully restored.

The project stands as a prime example of efficient collaboration and targeted problem-solving under challenging conditions.
