The entire content of the mineral oil separator, two-thirds of which is polluted water, was pumped out, transported and disposed of in a special facility.
Today
Clearex empties, clarifies and fills the mineral oil separator in one operation on site. In the Clearex special vehicle, the oil-water mixture is separated into solids and liquids in a physical-chemical process on the spot and clarified. The treated water meets the discharge requirements of the Water Protection Ordinance and can therefore be returned to the system.
Only the significantly smaller amount of solids and waste oil is removed and disposed of. Usually in a cost-effective "collection tour".
